Standard Appointment Types
What are Standard Appointment Types?
Standard appointment types are the appointment types that a resource offers by default. They define which booking options customers see when selecting an appointment.
How does the selection work?
- One appointment type: Is automatically pre-selected – customers do not need to choose
- Multiple appointment types: Customers must select an appointment type before booking
Factors that influence the offering
The appointment types actually offered may differ from the standard appointment types, depending on:
- Resource Channel: Can restrict or expand the appointment type selection
- Availability: Can restrict certain appointment types for certain time periods
- Bookable appointments: Pre-defined appointments can have their own appointment type that is not part of the standard offering
Priority
Channel and availability settings can override or supplement the standard appointment types.
