Request vs. Direct Booking

Two Booking Modes

ModeDescriptionSuitable for
Direct bookingCustomer books immediately, appointment is confirmedHigh efficiency, little coordination needed
RequestCustomer sends a request, you confirmMore control, pre-qualify if needed

Direct Booking

With direct booking, the customer selects a time slot and immediately receives a confirmation. The appointment is bindingly booked.

Advantages

  • Maximum efficiency: No manual confirmation required
  • Fast conversion: Customer receives their appointment immediately
  • 24/7 booking: Works outside of business hours as well

Appointment Requests

With appointment requests, the customer reserves a time slot, but you must confirm the request before the appointment is binding.

Advantages

  • More control: You decide which requests you accept
  • Pre-qualification: Review the request before confirming
  • Flexibility: Suggest alternative times if needed

Recommendation

Start with direct booking for maximum efficiency. Switch to requests if you need more control or the no-show rate is too high.
